The 40th Annual Caz 4th of July Races is on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012! ChronoTrack Timing in the 2012 edition to again be provided by Leone Timing. Simply place your bib number on the front of your shirt without any obstruction and you are ready to run the race! PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY - NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION T-Shirts guaranteed to the first 1000 entries (sizes not guaranteed) Entries Received by June 24 - $17 Online Registration from GetEntered.com available through July 1 ($20 from June 24 though June 29; $25 between June 30 and July 1). Event Schedule: 8:00 am 5k (3.1 mile) race 8:10 am 1 mile fun run 8:45 am 10 mile race around Cazenovia Lake Courses: All races start near Cazenovia High School. The 5K, 10 Mile, and one mile courses are each USATF Certified. --The 5K race begins on Emory St, proceeds to Sullivan, Ridge, Glenwood, and then onto East Lake Rd and finishes in Lakeland Park. --The Fun Run starts and finishes near the school. --The 10 mile race makes an initial loop through the village and then heads north on East Lake Rd on a counter clockwise loop of Cazenovia Lake, and finishes in Lakeland Park.

Awards:
Souvenir ribbons to all 1 mile finishers.
Special awards for the over-all women's and men's winners in the 5K and 10M.
5K age group awards (top three) for men and women in the 0-13, 14-19, and then year age groups.
10-mile age group awards (top three) for men and women in the 0-19 and then five year age groups.
Special award from Cazenovia Jewelry for 1st man and woman 50 years of age or older.

Facilities:
Facilities are limited, so come dressed to run. Parking is limited so arrive early and car pool!

Race Packets:
Packets can be picked up at Cazenovia High School on the morning of the race from 6:45am until 8:00am.

Entry fees:
$17 for the 5 km or 10 mile races on entries received by June 24. T-shirts given to the first 1000 entries.
Late fee for entries received between June 25 and June 29 is $20 (Online through GetEntered.com only).
Late fee for entries received between June 30 and July 1 is $25 (Online only).
Online Entry closes July 1 at 7:00 PM.
Entry in the one mile fun run is FREE ($5.00 for T-shirt). Help us out and get your entry early.
